The Dash Cam Mini is designed to be attached to the windshield with the included adhesive low-profile mount.

#4 my 12v socket has power even when my car is off. Does that mean the camera will always be on? Or does it turn off if there is no movement?

The Dash Cam Mini will keep recording for as long as power is supplied to it. You can manually turn the camera off when not in use by unplugging it.
