GE - General Electric JT950SASS Questions and Answers

#1 I started cleaning cycle and received an F2 error. How do I reset?

F2 typically means that the oven temperature has exceeded a preset temperature threshold. Fault codes help GE Factory Service technicians quickly diagnose issues with the range or oven. In the event that the electronic control displays a fault code, a trained Service Technician should be called to diagnose and correct the issue.

#2 I have an error code of f-7 i have reset the breaker already works for awhile then starts beeping at me with the same code what part # would i need to replace for this fault code?

Fault codes are programmed in all electronic range or oven controls. These codes help GE Factory Service technicians quickly diagnose issues with the range or oven. In the event that the electronic control displays a fault code, a trained Service Technician should be called to diagnose and correct the issue. Sometimes shutting off the circuit breaker 30 seconds will clear the fault code; however, there are some cases when further service may be required.

F7: This code usually means that there is a problem with the keypanel. Many times, it means the keypanel needs to be replaced.
