Loading Cargo
Your vehicle was designed to carry cargo. However, carrying a load
that is too heavy or improperly loaded can adversely affect your
vehicle’s handling, stability, and stopping distance and make it
unsafe. Before carrying any type of cargo, be sure to read the
following pages.
See page 95 for guidelines on driving with cargo.
Cargo Limit
Maximum weight capacity = SXS700M4P:
650 kg (1,433 lb)
SXS700M2P:
604 kg (1,331 lb)
This includes the weight of cargo, occupants, accessories, and trailer
tongue load.
Maximum cargo weight = SXS700M4P:
454 kg (1,000 lb)
SXS700M2P:
408 kg (900 lb)
This includes all items in the cargo bed, any accessories, and the
tongue load if you are towing a trailer (see page 79).
