Glass feature lighting:
switching on/off and dimming
it
The glass feature lighting can be
switched on and off and dimmed
independently of the fan.
To switch it on, press theglass
feature lighting control.
The lighting will come on at the
previously used brightness level.
The control is used for dimming the
glass feature lighting.
To change the brightness, press and
hold the lighting control with the
lighting switched on. The brightness
will gradually dim until you release the
control.
Press and hold in the lighting
control again to increase the
brightness to the level required and
then release it.
Press the control to switch the
glass feature lighting off.
Operating hours counter
The rangehood registers the length of
time it has been operated.
When the grease filter symbol or the
charcoal filter symbol lights up, the
operating hours counters are signalling
that the filters need to be cleaned or
replaced. Further information about
cleaning and replacing the filters and
resetting the operating hours counters
can be found under “Cleaning and
care”.
Altering the grease filter operating
hours counter
You can set the operating hours counter
to suit the type of cooking you do.
It is set at the factory for 30hours.
– Select a shorter time of 20hours if
you fry a lot.
– If you only cook occasionally, we
recommend that you still select a
short time for the counter. This is to
prevent grease from hardening on the
filters and making cleaning more
difficult.
– If you use very little fat for cooking,
you can select a longer time
(40-50hours).
