Setting Your Own Passcode
While some other safes on the market are needlessly complicated to program, your new
Ivation™ gun safe can register your own passcode in just a few simple steps:
1. Use included override keys to unlock safe for first time.
2. Locate Code Program Button (8) on safe ceiling, approximately 4 inches in.
3. Press and hold button for 4-5 seconds. Right LED Indicator (4) will blink once, then blink twice. Lock is now in learning mode.
4. Release Code Program Button (8) and enter your new passcode.
Note! Code may include same digit twice, but is limited to 4 digits total.
5. Center LED Indicator (5) will blink twice, prompting you to confirm passcode.
6. Enter your new passcode again. Right LED Indicator (4) will blink twice, confirming that new passcode has been
recorded.
Using Your Gun Safe
Once you’ve set your own passcode, it’s ready to securely store guns, documents and other valuables. To unlock the safe at any time,
simply enter the passcode and the spring-loaded door will flip open in an instant for immediate access.
Important! In event of forgotten passcode or dead batteries, do not attempt to force safe open. Safe will not yield, but locking
mechanism may still suffer damage. Use included override keys to unlock safe and set new password.
To remove the shelf inside your safe, gently lift it first and then proceed to pull it towards you.
Setting the Alarm
The safe is equipped with an alarm system. If the safe is tampered with or moved, the alarm will sound for 1 minute to alert you. To arm your
safe, press and hold the 4th (last) black button from the left until you hear a beep; the light blinks green once. If 3 incorrect codes are made in
succession this will cause the keypad to alarm for 1 minute and lock the user out for 2 minutes. If any button is pressed during the lock-out
time, all the lights will flash to show that the keypad is locked. You can use your override key at any time to open the safe.
Muting
To mute the keypad beeps: Hold the first keypad button on the left for 3 seconds until you hear 1 beep and all the lights flash together. To
unmute the keys, repeat this step.
Wall or Floor Mounting
You may choose to secure your safe to the floor or wall. This provides additional protection for your valuables and thwarts any
attempts at stealing the safe unit.
1. Use fingernails and/or flathead screwdriver to gently lift and remove protective foam liner from safe floor.
2. Position safe in preferred area. Fasten by driving screws through Predrilled Mounting Holes (10). Use anchors
if necessary.
3. Replace protective foam liner to hide screw heads and keep valuables from scratching.
Replacing Batteries
1. Locate Battery Compartment (9) on safe ceiling, approximately 2 inches in towards right side.
2. Press release tab and pull compartment door downwards.
3. Remove spent batteries and replace with 4 fresh AA batteries in correct polarity.
4. Replace compartment door and push in until it clicks.
