Installing the appliance on a wall unit
1. Use the drill jig or the hole pattern to mark out where the holes are to be drilled. (Fig. 1)
2. If necessary, cut out the opening for the exhaust air pipe in the correct position in the upper cabinet for air extraction mode.
3. For circulating-air mode, fit the two blind plugs to the rear and upper exhaust air openings. (Fig. 2)
4. Position the extractor hood below the base plate of the upper cabinet.
5. Use four screws to secure the appliance to the base plate of the upper cabinet from above.
Installing the appliance on a wall
Caution!
1. Use the drill jig or the hole pattern to drill the holes. (Fig. 1)
2. Press in the wall plugs flush with the wall.
3. Screw on the angle bracket.
4. If necessary, cut out the opening for the exhaust air pipe in the correct position in the wall-hanging cupboard for air extraction mode.
5. For circulating-air mode, fit the two blind plugs to the rear and upper exhaust air openings. (Fig. 2)
6. Fit the appliance.
7. Remove the filter grid; see the instruction manual.
8. Align the appliance horizontally using the two screws. (Fig. 3)
9. Screw the safety bracket securely to the wall over the appliance. This will ensure that the appliance cannot slip out of the bracket and fall if it is unintentionally hit from below. (Fig. 4)

Notes
1. If necessary, swap the exhaust connection and blind plug.
2. Attach the exhaust air pipe directly to the exhaust connection.
3. Connect it to the air extraction opening.
4. Seal the joints appropriately.
Establishing the connection for the circulated air
1. Remove the filter grid; see the instruction manual.
2. Use the lever on the extractor hood to select the circulating-air operating mode (Fig. 5).
Removing the appliance
1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
2. Loosen the exhaust-air lines.
3. If necessary, loosen the screw connections with the unit.
4. Remove the appliance.
