Haven't had any problems like that with mine. But On my last
one i did. Had to take out bout forty cds to get it to work right
again

This CD Changer DID come with a remote. I know my son has
my old unit, and he still uses the remote.

Sorry but this unit only hold and plays CD's so you'll need
speakers an a receiver to get the sound.

First thing to do is make sure you've put the cd's into the
changer with the labels facing to the right.

I have a remote that came with the first unit I bought back in
the 1980's and have since bought two more CD changers.
