to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:
Read all instructions.
Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating
label of the toaster.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs only.
To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or any part of the
toaster in water or other liquids.
Close supervision is necessary when it is used by or near children. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch any hot surface.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.

Bread may burn, therefore toasters must not be used near or below curtains and
other combustible materials; they must be supervised.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause injuries.
Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
Be sure to take the bread out carefully after toasting so as to avoid injuries.
A fire may occur if toasters are covered or touching flammable materials, including
curtains, draperies, walls and the like, when in operation.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or
other hot liquids.
Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
Do not operate unattended.
When heating toaster pastries, always use the lightest toast color setting.

To prevent electrical shock, unplug before cleaning.
Remove all protective wrapping prior to toasting.
If toaster starts to smoke, press CANCEL button to stop toasting immediately.
