TROUBLESHOOTING
Before calling for service, please review the list below, since the problem may not be the product
malfunction.
SYMPTOM REMEDY (not a malfunction)
Dust and smoke are
not removed.
• Clean or replace the lter if they appear to be heavily
soiled. (Page 8,10,11)
The discharged air has
an odor.
• Check to see if the lter are heavily soiled.
Replace the lter.
Smell from a new lter.
• Immediately after removing the plastic bag, a slight odor
may occur.
This odor is not harmful for lter performance or human
exposure.
Operation started
automatically after my
power was restored.
• This model has Auto Resume function, where the
operation resumes at the previous operation mode and
settings if the power is restored.

Flashing
• If the Fan Speed indicator lights illuminate for 10 seconds, the setting is
completed.
