SHELFKIT17 INSTRUCTIONS
This kit allows you to display bottles at an angle to keep their labels in view when stored inside a Summit Commercial wine cellar. It
is designed to be used with the wooden shelves included with your SWC1735C or SWC1775 unit.
Items Included:
(2) steel display racks
(4) adhesive bumpers
1. Determine which two wooden shelves you will be using to display wine.
2. In order to keep bottles in place, you will have to turn the wooden shelf around from its
original position. The thicker lip should face the front. Insert the shelf into its glides.
3. Slide the shelf out just enough to attach one of the included bumpers on each side of the
thickest part of the wood, then slide the shelf back so it is firmly in place (first-time use only)
4. Place the steel rack on top of the wooden shelf, letting the corners fit over the rear of the
wooden shelf. No tools are needed, and the rack will lock in place.
5. You can store up to four Bordeaux or Burgundy styles on their side on the slats, laying them
underneath the rack.
6. Place the bottles you wish to display at an angle so their necks rest in the slots of the rack.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE: The wood shelves that you will be
using with SHELFKIT17 to display bottles are fixed in place (Step
3). Do not defeat this safety step by pulling out the shelf when it
is loaded with bottles. Always use caution when handling a
loaded shelf.
