Maintenance
1.
Disconnect the spark plug caps.
2.
Clean any dirt from around the spark plug
bases.
3.
Remove the spark plugs using a spark
plug wrench provided in the tool kit.
4.
Inspect the electrodes and center
porcelain for deposits, erosion or carbon
fouling.
If the corrosion or deposit is heavy,
replace the plug.
5.
Make sure that a 1.1 mm wire-type feeler
gauge cannot be inserted between the
spark plug gap. If the gauge fits in the
gap, replace the plug with a new one.
6.
Make sure the plug washer is in good
condition.
