Cuisinart CCG-100 Questions and Answers

#1 What is the weight of the grill and does it have a latch to keep it
closed during transport?

I don't know the weight but it has clasps to hold lid on tight
during transport.

#2 Do we really need stand for this grill to use at the beach?

That's your choice. If you don't want it sitting down low in the
sand, you need it up higher. A tabletop would be fine. But it
should be a non flammable surface.

#3 Does the grill easily remove from the base for transportation or
is it permanently secured to the base?

Yes the grill removes very easily from the base for
transportation. We have had our for a couple of years now and
just love it!

#4 Is there a specific cover made for this? if not, there's another
custom sewing project!

I'm pretty sure they do make a cover for it.

#5 Do the legs fold in for storage or are they permanent as
pictured?

No, they do not fold. we bought a stand for the grill and sat it
on our deck.

#6 When the grate is lifted will i be able to close lid? Or does the
lid have to stay open?

You can close the lid if the grate is lifted, when you shut the lid
you can slide a button on both sides to lower the grate for
cooking.

#7 Can the grate be removed easily to wash well after use?

It doesn't remove as easily as one sitting flat, but it's not too
cumbersome either. We are using it again this Labor Day
weekend and love it. Ours is charcoal.
