Marcy PT-5757 Questions and Answers

#1 One of the pictures states that each peg actually uses an
"Olympic sleeve" that is removable, so standard weights
can be used too.
Yes that’s right. The pegs are for standard weights and
included are sleeves that can go over the pegs so Olympic
weights can fit.

#2 Would this hold a hex bar?
The weight bar holder is designed for a straight bar. A hex bar
might not fit as good.

#3 What is the length of each peg?
About 8 inches. I fit two 45lb aolympuc Bumper plates on each
peg.

#4 Can you use this for kettlebell?
No. This is for plates. You can put kettlebells on the floor or
buy a rack.

#5 How many inches between peg to peg? I have olympic
bumper plates that measure about 18" in diameter, and
need sonething that can accomidate that.
It's right at 16 1/2 inches in between each peg. My 45lb plates
are 18 inches in diameter and I can place a 45 plate on the
bottom peg with one on the top peg and the do NOT touch.

#6 Says its rated for 300 pounds, anyone have it loaded with
more?
I've got 500. Not saying you should though. Have to follow the
manufacturers guidelines for yourself.

#7 Can it hold a big plate on top and bottom?
This will fit an Olympic 45lb plate on the top and bottom with a
1.5in gap in between the two plates.
