PowerXL GLA-1005 Questions and Answers

#1 Can you set the time and adjust the temperature rather than using the presets?

Yes, i adjust the time and temperature all the time. I will tell you tried the basket for the first time and it does not work-it will not turn.

#2 Does it come with Cooking books?

Yes it comes with a big air fryer cookbook and smaller dehydration and rotisserie cookbooks

#3 Does it comewith a baking sheet ?

No, it comes with 3 mesh racks that you could sit a small one on.

#4 Is there a Ceramic coating inside ?

No, there isn't. No coating of any kind. It is easy to clean.

#5 How do you tell when it hits temp?

After about 2 minutes you hear the fan go to a higher speed. That's when it has hit temp.

#6 Can I do rotisserie using air fry function?

Yes. We've used it a lot to cook small chickens. They do have to be very small or they drag & bump as they go around. Cornish hens work great! We haven't used the skewers yet but it should be easy also.

#7 Does this unit have a heating element on the bottom as well as the top? Or just the top only?

Just the top but with the air movement that doesn't matter everything gets cooked without you having to move or adjust things

#8 Cook books included?

Comes with a great cookbook. 100’s of really great recipes for every option on the air fryer
