locationthatisstrongenoughtosupportitstotalweight,keepinginmindthatitwillweighsubstantiallymorewhen
fullyloadedthanwhenempty.
Beforeyouplugtherefrigeratorinto
apowersupply,besuretoletitstandupright foratleast24hourstoallowthe
compressor’soilstosettle.
WARNING:Usetwoormorepeopletomoveandinstalltherefrigerator.Failur etodosocanresultinbackorother
injury.Carefullyremovethepackagingmaterials.Remove
anyshipping tapeandgluefromyourrefrigeratorbefore
using.Donotusesharpinstruments,rubbingalcohol,flammablefluids,orabrasivecleanerstoremovetapeorglue.
Theseproductscandamagethesurfaceofyourrefrigerator.

TYPESOFINSTALLATION:
Thisrefrigeratorhasbeendesignedforfree‐standingorbuilt‐ininstallation.Ineverycase,theremustbeadequate
ventilationandaccessforservice.
Free‐standinginstallation:Afree‐standinginstallationwillallowyoutoinstalltherefrigeratorinalmostanyplaceyou
desire.Youmustfollowthestatedinstructions
forelectricalrequirementsandlevelingtherefrigerator.
Built‐ininstallation:Arecessedinstallationwillallowyoutoinstalltherefrigeratorunderacounterorinakitchen
cabinetprovidedtheclearancespacerequirementsaroundtherefrigeratorarefollowed.Itisnecessarytoallow
adequateventilationspacearoundtheunit(make
surethereisatleastsomeventilationroomforthebackoftheunit).
Thefollowingadditionalitemsmustbeobserved:
1. Placetherefrigeratorinfrontoftheinstallationlocation.
2. Adjustthefeetandplacetheunitflatonthefloororonaplatformdependingonyour
installationrequirements.
3. Iftheelectricaloutletfortherefrigeratorisbehindthecabinet,plugintherefrigerator.
4. Pushtherefrigeratorintoposition.
