If a full reset (restart) of the TV isrequired
Picture (quality)/screen
Picture quality is not as good asviewed at the store.
Distorted picture.
The screen flickers.
No color/Dark picture/Color is notcorrect/Picture is too bright.
Dark screen. How to brighten thescreen.
Color is not correct. How to adjustthe color tone.
Screen format/wide mode changesautomatically.
The screen suddenly changes to avideo you do not recognize whilewatching TV.
Suddenly the picture becomes small.
Black bands appear at the edges ofthe screen.
A black box appears on the screen.
There are banners/tickers at the topor bottom of the screen.
3 D pictures are not displayed. The3D effect is weak. (3D models only)
Black bars appear on both sides ofthe screen when watching 3Dpictures. (3D models only)
You cannot turn off 3D display whilewatching 3D content. (3D modelsonly)
The message [3D signal has beendetected.] automatically appearswhen 3D signal is detected. (3Dmodels only)
A message about an app asking forpermission to access a TV functionis displayed.

Check these things first totroubleshoot your TV reception.
Block noise or an error messageappears and you cannot watchbroadcasts.
Ghosting or double images appear.
Only snow noise or a black pictureappears on the screen.
There is picture or sound noisewhen viewing an analog TV channel.
Some channels are blank.
Poor reception or poor picturequality with digital broadcasts.
You cannot view digital channels.
You cannot receive or selectchannels.
Some digital cable channels are notdisplayed.
Broadcast HD formats have poorquality.
Sound
No sound but good picture.
Audio noise.
No audio or low audio with a hometheater system.
Distorted sound.
Headphone volume cannot beadjusted.
You want to output sound from boththe headphones and the TVspeakers.
Network (Internet/home)/apps
The network name (SSID) of thewireless router (access point) towhich you want to connect is notdisplayed.
Sometimes video streaming qualityis poor.
Wi-Fi connection is lost orintermittent.
Certain Internet video contentdisplays a loss of detail.
Good picture quality but no sound onInternet video content.
Apps are inaccessible.
The TV cannot access the Internetwhen IPv6 is set.
Your TV cannot connect to theserver.
A message appears stating that theTV cannot connect to your network.
You can connect to the Internet, butnot to Google services.
Remote control/accessories
The remote control does notoperate.
You cannot turn the Active 3DGlasses on. (3D models only)
The LED indicator on the Active 3DGlasses blinks. (3D models only)
Power
The TV turns off automatically.
The TV turns on automatically.
After unplugging the TV andplugging it in again, the TV does notturn on even if you press the powerbutton on the remote control or theTV.
Connected devices
No picture from a connected device.
You cannot select a connecteddevice in the Home Menu.
Certain programs on digital sourcesdisplay a loss of detail.
Photo images or folders take time todisplay.
You cannot find a connectedBRAVIA Sync HDMI device.
You cannot control a second AVreceiver.
The TV does not output pictureand/or sound from the MHL device.(MHL supported models only)
An external device (such as a settopbox or AV receiver) cannot becontrolled via the IR Blaster. (IRBlaster compatible models only)
Some media files in the USB deviceor server are not displayed.
The TV cannot be found by a Wi-FiDirect device.
Operation cuts out, or a device doesnot work.
What kind of devices can beconnected using the Screenmirroring function?
The TV cannot connect to a Miracastdevice or Screen mirroringcompatible device.
