LG Electronics WWT-1710B Questions and Answers

#1 How much "open space" must be left behind this unit? My space is only 33" deep, is that enough?

To ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1'' (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4'' (10 cm) behind the appliance. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances

#2 I have one 240 volt outlet. Do you need 1 or 2 outlets?

You will need two outlets for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 Cu.Ft. 6-Cycle Front-Load Washer and 7.4 Cu.Ft. 6-Cycle Electric Dryer WashTower™ with Steam - Black Steel, Model # WKEX200HBA. The Dryer has to be plugged into the 240 V outlet but the washer has to be plugged into a 120 V, 60Hz grounded outlet. The washer comes with a power cord attached, but the dryer does not. The power cord for the dryer has to be purchased separately

#3 Can the doors be switched to swing right instead of left?

No, the doors are not reversible.

#4 Is there a rated decibels range?

This unit features LoDecibel™ Quiet Operation which, we do not have an exact decibel number, but it is comparable to the same decibel as library noise which on average is around 40 decibels. This number can vary due to the installation as well as the home acoustics.
