In the Record mode (with the lens barrier open), you can
select the Standard mode, Sequence mode, Macro mode,
Digital Tele mode, and Function card mode with each press of
the Function button. The Function card mode can be used for
flagging Panorama pictures or photographing with a special
function card available from Olympus (optional).
Mode Use
Standard mode For taking standard
pictures.
Sequence mode For taking max. 6 to 10
sequential pictures. (p. 102)
Macro mode For taking macro pictures.

Digital Tele mode For taking the subject twice as
large (2X cropped). (p. 104)
Function card For flagging panorama pictures
mode or photographing with a
