  • Questions unAnswered : 2

#1 What exactly is the non stick coating ? What is the copper part
made of? Does it emit any toxins?

It's ceramic, as nearly as I can tell The color could be called
copper but the material is a ceramic non-stick coating. As for
emitting toxins, it ought to be washed before being used, but I'd
say that with anything that touches food.

#2 Will the bottom of the grill plate turn gray from washing it in the
dish washer because it's is made out of aluminium

The underside of mine was gray/aluminum to begin with. The
copper colored portion has never changed color and I wash
mine in the dishwasher all the time. I love this griddle.

#3 Can I boil water on this? How hot does it get

It’s about a half inch deep, I would not recommend trying to
boil water on this for safety reasons although it certainly does
get hot enough to do so.

#4 Is it supposed to stop producing heat after reaching the
desired temp?

No. The probe is a temperature regulating thermostat. When
the griddle surface temperature reaches the set temperature, it
will hold that temperature.

#5 Do these work well?

Yes, they work well. They work great for cooking breakfast
foods.
