The Cuisinart® Digital Folding Probe Thermometer is a simple and effective way to check in on the readiness of your grilled meats. This thermometer has a digital LCD display that reads internal meat temperatures instantly. The probe is long enough to fit in any sized meat cut and folds into base for convenient storage. Built-in LED light allows for grilling at night. Comfortable grip and the folding probe provide perfect angles and comfort when reading temperatures in hard to reach places.

Start & Reset

• Remove the silicone shield to access the battery door on the back of the thermometer. Slide the door away to install batteries.
  2 AAA – not included
• Power the thermometer on after the batteries are installed, all functions will show on the display for 1 second, and start to measure the environment’s temperature. Also, the LED background light on for 5 seconds.
• Default temperature setting: °F (see Figure 1)

Operations

ON/OFF button

• Press the ON/OFF button one time to power on. Press the ON/OFF button one time to power off.

°F/°C button

• Press this button one time to exchange °F/°C.
• After exchange, the degree will not be reserved, it will show °F when you power on again.

HOLD button

• Press this button to show the max tested temperature, press again to show the min tested temperature. press once more back to the current temperature. When showing max/min temperature, if there is no operation within 5 seconds, it will go back to the testing position automatically.

LIGHT button

• Press this button to turn on the LED light, press again to turn off the LED light.

Function description

Temperature

• Temperature measurement range: -40°C~+250°C or -104°F~+482°F
• Measure period: 1 second, temperature resolution:0.1°F
• Default temperature setting: °F
• Accuracy:+/-1
• It shows “HI”when the tested temperature over the MAX temperature, it shows “LO” when the tested temperature below the MIN temperature.

Backlight function

• Push the °F/°C or “HOLD” button once, the LED lights on for 5 seconds. When power on, it lights on for 5 seconds.

Make sure that meats are grilled to safe temperatures.
