The heater may be operated by the controls located on the heater (see Fig. 1).
• LOW: 750W
• HIGH: 1500W
• AUTO: Heater will automatically adjust the heat output to reduce energy use and lower heating costs. If the room temperature is well below the set temperature, the heater will operate at HIGH output. As the room temperature gets closer to the set temperature, the heater will automatically reduce the heat output until the set temperature is reached.
• QUICK START TEMPERATURE SETTING: Press 1HR button and the heater will automatically set to 77 °F (25 °C) and will automatically adjust its heat output between LOW or HIGH. The unit will cycle on and off for 1 hour to reach and maintain the 77 °F (25 °C) temperature. To change the temperature, press the temperature buttons "+" or "—" to adjust temperature setting UP or DOWN with the 1 Hour timer continuing to work. To turn the quick start setting off when in QUICK START TEMPERATURE SETTING, press the "1HR" button. If the "Timer" or "Mode/OFF" display button is pressed while in QUICK START TEMPERATURE SETTING this will over-ride the Quick Start Temperature function.
NOTE: The 1 Hour Quick Start Setting is not an excuse to leave the heater unattended.
The Timer function allows you to set the length of operation from 1 minute to 23 hours and 59 minutes. Press the timer button once to adjust the minute. Press the button the second time to adjust the hour. Press the button the third time to set the timer.
Under timer mode, continuously adjust the the timer until the LED screen displays "00:00".
NOTE: The timer function is not an excuse to leave the heater unattended.
1. A thermal overload protector is built into prevent overheating: When an overheat temperature is reached, the Heater/fan will automatically shut off. It will only resume operation when the user resets the unit by unplugging the heater for 10 minutes to allow it to cool. Plug the heater in and resume use.
2. Safety Tip-Over Switch is built-n to automatically turn off the heater if it tips over.
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities.
Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available.
If electrical appliances are disposed on in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer may be legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposal free of charge.
WARNING: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE MOVING!
CLEANING: IMPORTANT! DO NOT IMMERSE HEATER IN WATER! Clean the heater grille with the vacuum brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. This will remove lint and dirt from inside the heater. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE APART THE HEATER. DO NOT REMOVE THE HEATER GRILLE. Clean the body of the Heater with a soft cloth.
CAUTION: Do not use gasoline, benzene, paint thinner, harsh cleaners, etc. as they will damage the heater. NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS.
STORAGE: Store the heater with these instructions in the original carton in a cool, dry place.
