I use filtered water to steam the bottles. We have not had any issues with mold and we've been using this warmer for about a year now. It's easy to clean. You just have to remove the cup (easily pops out) where you place the bottle and wipe out the reservoir with a towel (unplug it first).

It does but takes up the full space leaving little air in between bottle and warmer so it heats really fast and really hot. Have to check it carefully.

Preaching to the choir! I just fill up the water container dump it all in turn on the machine and put in the bottle and take it out every 20-30seconds shake the bottle then repeat until warm. This method totally defeats the purpose of measuring etc but it WILL eliminate the headache of cooling the bottle off at 1:20am when your baby is screaming in your already deaf ear. Good luck!

You probably could but it does warm very quickly so I would really worry about the glass breaking and the mess afterwards. If you could defrost the bottle to room temp then warm you shouldn't have to worry about the glass breaking as the warmer is for both glass and plastic bottles.
