RESTORING COPPER
To maintain the copper’s luster, use either a metal polish
or homemade mixture of ½ cup white vinegar, ¼ cup
table salt, and ¼ cup scouring powder. Rub the mixture
over the copper with a cloth or nonabrasive scrubber,
and rinse clean with hot water. Never use cleaners
containing bleach to clean copper cookware.
