Sony BDP-S2500 Questions and Answers

#1 How to turn off subtitles?

There is a subtitle button on the remote. Hit it until the option says either none or off. Be sure it's the DVR player and not a setting on your tv as well.

#2 Can it download the dish app?

I don't know specifically, but I know there's a lot of applications available to download, the dish app may be available, but I'm not sure.

#3 Does this have more updates, and does it update its apps?

It does update on its own but I don't know if there is still new updates !

#4 Do you have to use a wired or wireless controller?

You should be able to use both wired and wireless

#5 Can you play DVDS?

Yes it will play regular DVDS and you will see them in 1080 HD but ypu have to have a TV that is HD also.

#6 Can I get on the internet with this sony wifi blu-ray disc/dvd player

Yes you can connect to wifi to access the streaming features of the dvds player.
