BEFORE USING YOUR BLENDER FOR THE FIRST TIME
USING THE BLENDER
Before using the blender for the first time, clean all the accessories (A, B,
C, E, F, K, L) in warm water and washing up liquid (except for the motor
unit (J). See “Cleaning” §). Rinse and dry them carefully.
CAUTION: the blades are very sharp, handle them with care when
cleaning or using your appliance.
Ensure that all packaging has been removed before using the blender.
The blender can only be used for preparations such as smoothies, milk-
shakes and sauces or blending ingredients (cooked vegetable soups,
waffle and pancake batter). Do not use for processing coffee beans, hard
spices or grinding sugar.
1. Drop blade with gasket (D+E) in the plastic blade holder (F) (Fig. 1).
2. Place the blender jug (C) on this assembly (D+E+F). Then Lock the
blade unit by turning it clockwise (Fig. 2).
3. Place the blender jug assembly (C+D+E+F) onto the motor unit (J).
Lock the blender jug assembly correctly (Fig. 3).
4. Place the ingredients in the blender jug (C) (Fig. 4). Never add or
process liquids or ingredients whose temperature is higher than 70°C.
Instead cool them slightly first. Do not blend only hot liquid above
60°C, as it can splash out of the appliance.
Refer to the table below for the maximum quantities to be used. Do
not exceed the maximum quantities stated in the table below.
5. Lock the lid (B) onto the blender jug (C) (Fig. 5).
6. Fit the measuring cap (A) into the opening in the lid and turn it to lock
it into place. (Fig. 6).
7. Plug in the appliance and switch it on by pressing the low-speed or
high-speed button (H or I).The blender will not operate if the blender
jug is not correctly fitted.
8. Hold the appliance firmly with both hands during operation. Do not
run for more than 60 seconds.
9. Your appliance is equipped (according to model) with an thermal cut-
out. In case of overheating your appliance will turn off automatically.
Disconnect the appliance and let it cool down for about 30 minutes,
then resume use.
