#2 Can you play music on this via bluetooth from your phone and use the wireless mic at the same time (like a karaoke machine)?

Yes you can. You can Bluetooth your phone to the speaker, and sing along with the music at the same time. My mic broke after using it a couple times tho. The power switch to turn it on and off broke on it.

#3 Are there free returns on this item?

They deducted the return fee from my refund

#4 How do I get the speaker to recognize the wireless microphone?

Once you turn on the microphone and the speaker they will automatically connect to each other. Please make sure that the batteries are brand new. Adjust the microphone volume on the back of the unit and it will work
