Remove the Air Conditioner from the Case
On some models, open the control door and
remove the screw. Remove the front grille.
Keep this screw to reattach the grille later.
On some models, remove the air filter and
the 2 screws behind the filter. Lift off the
front grille.
Keep these screws to reattach the grille later.
Remove one screw from each side of the case.
Keep these ground/anti-theft screws so they
may be replaced at the end of the installation.
Slide the air conditioner from the case by
grasping front flange of the evaporator cover
and pulling forward while bracing the case.
NOTE: The air conditioner is very heavy. It may
require two or more people to remove it from
the case.
