Hamilton Beach 62658 Questions and Answers

#1 Can I switch the beaters to heavier duty ones?

You can only use what it comes with. It has to fit in the
drive socket.

#2 How does the hamilton beach 5 speed hand mixer hold up
over time? is the slow speed actually slow? Is the transition
from slow to higher speeds smooth

I mostly use slow speed which has enough power to mix
most stuff. If I want more creamy and faster, I use just
speed 3. I've never used max speed yet, but I love this
mixer.

#3 How do the beaters lock in place? Followed the
directions and the beaters click in but then fall out
during use.

It appears they only lock if they are in the correct side.
Theyaren't marked that I can find, but try reversing the sides
they yare on

#4 Are the beaters real 304 stainless steal?

I wouldn’t know what that actually looks like: what are
the chemical properties of #304 stainless steel? The
beaters work perfectly to blend food. This hand mixer is
not designed or priced for commercial use. This mixer is
great for frequent home use with easy cleanup and
kitchen storage.

#5 Is this mixer really mint, light green or is it more blue, like a
light aqua?

Mint like green.. I was hoping for a blue or aqua color.
