Inspecting Tread Depth
Inspect the tread wear indicators. If they
become visible, replace the tires immediately.
3WARNING
Riding on tires that are excessively worn
or improperly inflated can cause a crash
in which you can be seriously hurt or
killed.
Follow all instructions in this owner's
manual regarding tire inflation and
maintenance.
Have your tires replaced by your dealer.
For recommended tires and air pressure, see
“Specifications.” 2 P. 101
Follow these guidelines whenever you replace
tires.
● Use the recommended tires or equivalents
of the same size, construction, speed rating,
and load range.
● Remember to replace the inner tube
whenever you replace a tire. The old tube
will probably be stretched, and it could fail if
installed in a new tire.
3WARNING
Installing improper tires on your vehicle
can adversely affect handling and
stability, and can cause a crash in which
you can be seriously hurt or killed.
Always use the size and type of tires
recommended in this owner's manual.
