Telephone Answering Machine (TAM)
Playback of old messages via handset
Old messages can only be played if there are no new messages. The first recorded message will be played first
and the next message will be played automatically until there are no more messages.
1. Press
mMENU, scroll : to Answer Machine and press mSELECT, press mSELECT to enter
Play.
2. Press
mOK, the first recorded message will start to play until the last recorded message. During mes-
sage playback, you can press
mMENU to select the available options. (Please refer to the options avail-
able under "Playback of new messages via handset" on page 52.)
Delete All
1. Press mMENU, scroll : to Answer Machine and press mSELECT, scroll : to Delete All and
press
mSELECT.
2. Press
mSELECT again to confirm deletion of all your messages.
Memo recording
You can record a reminder message for yourself or for anyone else who uses your answering machine. The
answering machine treats a memo recording the same way it treats any incoming message, and the new
message indicator will flash accordingly
1. Press
mMENU, scroll : to Answer Machine and press mSELECT, scroll : to Record Memo and
press
mSELECT.
2. Press
mSTART to start recording the memo.
3. Press
mSTOP to end the recording.
Answering machine mode
1. Press mMENU, scroll : to Answer Machine and press mSELECT, scroll : to Answer Mode and
press
mSELECT.
2. There are 2 answering modes available: Answer Only or Answ. & Record. The current selected mode is
highlighted.
TIP You can also playback messages by pressing u key in stand-by mode, scroll : to Answer
Machine and press
mSELECT, press mSELECT again to Play.
Unread messages will not be deleted.
