3 OpentheCalc-CleanrinsingapthatcoverstheCalc-Cleanrinsing
cap. Turn the Calc-Clean rinsing cap anticlockwise and remove it.
4 Empty the steam generator into the sink.
5 Fill the steam generator with fresh water, shake well and empty it
into the sink again.
6 Repeat step 5 a few times to obtain the best result.
7 Screw the Calc-Clean rinsing cap tightly back onto the steam
generatorandputbacktheCalc-Cleanrinsingap.
8 Put the water tank back into the steam generator.
1 Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
Be careful with the iron resting mat, it may be hot after use.
2 Emtpy the water tank.
3 Insert the tip of the iron into the carry lock (1) and then put down
the heel of the iron (2).
4 Slide the carry lock slide to the right to lock the iron onto the steam
generator.
5 GC8461/GC8460: Press the cord rewind button to rewind the mains
cord.
6 GC8420/GC8410: Insert the cord neatly into the cord storage
compartment.
