Panasonic KX-TGEA20B Questions and Answers

#1 My phone rings once and then goes to voicemail. Any idea how to stop this?

Menu>Up/Down to Answering Device>Up/Down to Settings<Up/Down to Ring Count<Select the number you want up to 4 rings.

#2 Does this item have a headset jack ?

Yes, on the lower left side.

#3 How do I set up call waiting?

I believe you need to have that added as an option by your telephone carrier service. My phone will display the caller "in waiting data" because I have this feature available through my carrier.

#4 How to take phone off mute

Press the left button under the MUTE until TALK shows up in the left of the screen.

#5 I plugged in my cellular headset using a 3.5mm/2.5mm adapter and the sound is great but the microphone does not work. Any suggestions?

Not to state the obvious, but are you sure it was plugged all the way into the phone? I have done that more than once when in too much of a hurry.
