Wi-Fi® Protected Setup (WPS) is a built-in feature of many
routers that make it easier to connect Wi-Fi enabled
devices to a secure wireless network. This information is
provided to help connect your TV, Blu-ray Disc™ player, or
other supported home video products to a wireless
network using WPS.
Before you startAndroid TV™ devices with or updated to
Android™ 8.0 Oreo™ operating system or newer don't
support WPS and won't have the WPS option in the
Network settings.
Make sure your router supports the WPS feature. Refer to
your router documentation or contact the manufacturer to
learn how to use and setup the WPS feature of your router.
Note: Some manufactures may use the following terms
instead of WPS (Push Button) to describe this function.
