• Immediately remove the mains plug if you notice
that the kettle is not operating correctly.
• Do not pull on the power cord to remove the

• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of
a table or work surface in order to prevent the
appliance from falling.
• Always remain vigilant when the appliance is on,
and in particular be careful of the steam coming
out of the spout, which is very hot.
• Also be careful as the body of stainless steel
kettles becomes very hot during operation. Only
touch the handle of the kettle.
• Never touch the filter or the lid when the water is
boiling.
• Never move the kettle when it is in operation.
• Our guarantee does not cover kettles that do not
work properly or do not work at all because they
have not been descaled.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
The performance in water of our product are tested at 100% during
manufacturing. It might still have some smudge of water inside the
product. It does not compromize the quality and hygiene of our product.
1. Remove all packaging, stickers and accessories both inside and outside
the tea maker.
2. Adjust the length of the cable by unwinding it from under the base.
Hook the cable into the slot. (Diagram 1)
Fill the teapot with water and discard it two or three times as it could
contain dust. Rinse the teapot, the infuser basket and the lid separately.
• Unplug the appliance as soon as you have
finished using it for a long period of time and
when you clean it.

USE
1. Set the base on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface that is not
exposed to splashes of water or any heat source.
2. Opening the lid
• Grasp the teapot handle and remove the lid with the basket (diagram
2/3). Do not operate the tea maker without its lid. If the lid is lost or
broken, please contact your After-Sales service centre.
• The tea maker must only be used with the base provided.
3. Fill the teapot with the desired quantity of water (diagram 4)
• Never fill the teapot when it is sitting on its base.
• Do not fill it above the maximum level, or below the minimum level. If
it is not filled to the minimum level, temperature accuracy cannot be
reached (temperature accuracy+/-3°C).
• If the teapot is too full, boiling water may spill out. Do not operate the
tea maker without water. Check that the lid is properly closed before
use.
• Do not put the infuser basket back in the teapot.
4. Set the teapot on its base and REPLACE THE LID (diagram 5).
Connect the tea maker power cable.
• the base will light up and indicate the water temperature in real time.

5. Starting the tea maker
A. Temperature selection
– Press the temperature selection button (diagram 6), select the
temperature: 40°C, 50°C, 60°C, 70°C, 80°C, 85°C, 90°C or 100°C.
– The temperature selection indicator light flashes 4 times and beeps,
and heating begins (diagram7).
– Note: It is possible to start the cycle before the automatic start by
pressing the on/off button.
– When the required temperature is reached, the tea maker stops and
beeps twice (diagram 8).
B. Tea infusion
– Without removing the teapot from its base, remove the lid from the
infuser basket (diagram 9)
– Fill the infuser basket with the desired quantity of tea leave or tea
bag(s) (diagram 10)
– Replace the infuser basket in the teapot, taking care not to burn
yourself by touching the lid (diagram 11).

– Replace the lid of the infuser basket (diagram 12).
– Press the infusion time selection button (diagram 13), select the
infusion time: 1 min, 2 min, 3 min, 4 min, 5 min, 6 min, 7 min, 8 min,
9 min or 10 min
Note: Your tea will automatically be infused at the pre-selected
temperature.
– Once the infusion time is reached, the tea maker stops and beeps
twice (diagram 14).
Note: It is possible to start the cycle before the automatic start by
pressing the on/off button.
– So that the tea is not over-infused, remove the infuser basket from
the teapot and replace the lid (diagram 15), your tea is ready to be
served (diagram 16).
C. Keep Warm function
Once your tea is infused, it is possible to keep the pre-selected
temperature (maximum 95°C) for the time you desire.
– Replace the teapot on its control base (diagram 17).
– Press the Keep Warm selection button (diagram 18), select the
time: 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours, 7 hours or 8
hours. Once the Keep Warm function has finished:
– The tea maker stops and beeps twice.
D. Shut-down and standby
If no cycle is ongoing and if no buttons are pressed, the machine goes
automatically into standby mode and switches off after 5 minutes.
The machine can be switched on again simply by pressing the on/off
button.
If you wish to switch the machine off manually, press and hold the on/
off button.

IN THE EVENT OF PROBLEMS
THERE IS NO EVIDENT DAMAGE TO YOUR TEA MAKER
• The tea maker does not work or stops before coming to the boil
– Check that your tea maker is properly connected.
– The tea maker has been switched on without water or an
accumulation of scale has triggered the over-heat cut-off
mechanism: allow the tea maker to cool down and fill it with water.
Descale first if scale has accumulated.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING YOUR TEA MAKER
Unplug it.
Let it cool down and clean it with a damp sponge.
•
Never immerse the tea maker, its base, the cord or the electric plug
in water or any other liquid: the electrical connections or the switch
must not come into contact with water or any other liquid.
•
Do not use scouring pads.
•
When your team maker has finished infusing, prevent temperature
shocks with cold water.
•
Do not put the product parts in the dishwasher.
•
The lid gasket has been designed to be removable in order to allow
clean the lid.
DESCALING
De-scale regularly, preferably at least once a month or more frequently if
your water is very hard.
To de-scale your tea maker:
• Using white vinegar:
– Fill the teapot with 0.5 L of white vinegar.
– Leave to stand for 1 hour without heating.
• Using citric acid:
– Boil 0.5 L of water.
– Add 25 g of citric acid and leave to stand for 15 min.
• Empty the teapot and rinse 5 or 6 times. Repeat if necessary.
To de-scale your infuser basket and lid:
Soak the infuser basket and lid in white vinegar or diluted citric acid.
•
Never use a de-scaling method other than the recommended method.

Switch it on: the tea maker should start working again after about 15
minutes.
IF YOUR TEA MAKER HAS BEEN DROPPED, IF IT LEAKS OR IF THERE IS
VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE POWER CORD, THE PLUG OR THE BASE OF
THE TEA MAKER.
Return your tea maker to your After-Sales Service Centre, only they are
authorised to carry out repairs. Refer to the warranty conditions and list
of centres in the booklet supplied with your tea maker. The type and
serial number are shown on the bottom of your tea maker. This warranty
covers manufacturing defects and domestic use only. Any breakage or
damage resulting from failure to comply with the instructions for use is
not covered by the warranty.
•
The manufacturer reserves the right to modify the characteristics
or components of its tea makers at any time in the interests of the
consumer.
•
Stop using the tea maker. No attempt must be made to dismantle the
tea maker or its safety devices.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its after-sales service centre or a similarly qualified
person, in order to avoid any danger.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Your appliance contains many recoverable or recyclable
materials.
Take it to a local municipal waste collection point.
PREVENTION OF DOMESTIC ACCIDENTS
For a child, a burn or scald, even if slight, can sometimes be serious.
As they grow up, teach your children to beware of hot liquids found in
the kitchen. Position the tea maker and its supply cord well to the rear of
the work surface, out of the reach of children.
If an accident does occur, run cold water over the scald immediately
and call a doctor if necessary.

In order to prevent any accidents: do not carry your child or baby at
the same time as drinking or carrying a hot drink.

• N’ouvrez pas le couvercle lorsque l’eau bout.
• Votre théière ne doit être utilisée qu’avec
le couvercle verrouillé, le plateau et le filtre
antitartre qui lui sont associés.
• Ne mettez pas l’appareil, le plateau, le câble
d’alimentation ou la fiche dans l’eau ou tout
autre liquide.
• N’utilisez pas la théière si le câble
d’alimentation ou la fiche sont endommagés. Si
le câble est endommagé, il doit être changé par
le fabricant, son réparateur ou une personne de
qualification équivalente, pour des raisons de
sécurité.
• Il convient de surveiller les enfants pour
s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.
• AVERTISSEMENT: Soyez prudent lors de la

• N’utilisez votre théière que pour faire chauffer
de l’eau potable.
• AVERTISSEMENT : La surface de l’élément
chauffant présente une chaleur résiduelle après
utilisation.
• Votre appareil est destiné uniquement à un
usage domestique et à l’intérieur de la maison
et à une altitude inférieure à 4000m.
• Lisez attentivement le mode d’emploi avant la
première utilisation de l’appareil et conservez-le
: une utilisation non-conforme dégagerait Tefal
de toute responsabilité.
• Branchez l’appareil uniquement sur une prise
secteur reliée à la terre, ou sur une rallonge
électrique avec prise de terre intégrée. Vérifiez
que la tension d’alimentation indiquée sur la
plaque signalétique de l’appareil correspond
bien à celle de votre installation. L’emploi de
prise multiple est déconseillé.
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil lorsque vous avez les
mains mouillées ou les pieds nus.
• Veillez à ne pas poser la théière et son plateau
sur une surface chaude telle qu’une plaque
chauffante ni à l’utiliser à proximité d’une
flamme nue.
• Retirez immédiatement la prise secteur si vous
constatez une anomalie quelconque pendant le
fonctionnement.

• Ne tirez pas sur le câble d’alimentation pour
retirer la prise secteur.
• Ne laissez pas le câble d’alimentation pendre
au bord d’une table ou d’un plan de travail pour
éviter toute chute.
• Restez toujours vigilant lorsque l’appareil est
en marche, en particulier faites attention à la
vapeur sortant du bec qui est très chaude.
• Attention également, le corps des théière
en inox devient très chaud pendant le
fonctionnement. Ne touchez pas à la théière
autrement que par la poignée.
• Ne touchez jamais au filtre ou au couvercle
lorsque l’eau est bouillante
• Ne déplacez jamais la théière en
fonctionnement.
• Notre garantie exclut les théières qui ne
fonctionnent pas ou mal du fait de l’absence de
détartrage.
• Protégez l’appareil de l’humidité et du gel.
• Débranchez l’appareil dès que vous cessez de
l’utiliser pendant une longue période et lorsque
vous le nettoyez.
• Pour votre sécurité, cet appareil est conforme
aux normes et réglementations applicables

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
Les performances en eau de nos produits sont testés à 100% lors de leur
fabrication. Malgré l’attention apportée au séchage, des traces d’eau
peuvent être présentes à l’intérieur de la bouilloire. Cela ne compromet
en rien la Qualité et l’hygiène des produits.
1. Enlevez tous les matériaux d’emballage, autocollants et accessoires
situés dans l’appareil ou en dehors de la théière.
2. Réglez la longueur du câble en le déroulant de sous la base. Calez le
câble dans l’encoche. (Schéma 1)
Remplissez et jetez l’eau de la théière à deux ou trois reprises car elle
peut contenir de la poussière.Rincez la théière, le panier à thé et le
couvercle séparément.
UTILISATION
1. PLACEZ LA BASE SUR UNE SURFACE PLATE, STABLE ET
THERMORÉSISTANTE, NON EXPOSÉE À DES ÉCLABOUSSURES
D’EAU ET À TOUTE SOURCE DE CHALEUR.
2. POUR OUVRIR LE COUVERCLE
• Saisissez la poignée de la théière et retirez le couvercle avec le
panier (schéma 2/3). Ne faites pas fonctionner votre théière sans
son couvercle. En cas de perte ou de cassure du couvercle, veuillez
contacter votre centre de service d’après vente.
• La théière ne doit être utilisée qu’avec la base fournie.

3. REMPLISSEZ LA THÉIÈRE AVEC LA QUANTITÉ SOUHAITÉE D’EAU
(SCHÉMA 4)
• Ne remplissez jamais la théière lorsqu’elle est posée sur sa base.
• Ne la remplissez pas au dessus du niveau maximum, ou en dessous
du niveau minimum. Si le niveau minimum n’est pas atteint
la précision de température ne sera pas atteinte (précision de
température+/-3°C).
• Si la théière est trop remplie, de l’eau bouillante pourra être éjectée.
Ne faites pas fonctionner la théière sans eau. Vérifiez que le couvercle
est correctement fermé avant l’utilisation.
• Ne pas remettre le panier à thé dans la théière.
4. POSEZ LA THÉIÈRE SUR SA BASE ET REPLACEZ LE COUVERCLE
(SCHÉMA 5). BRANCHEZ LE CÂBLE D’ALIMENTATION DE LA
THÉIÈRE.
• la base s’allumera et indique la température de l’eau en temps réel.
(schéma5+zoom)
5. POUR DÉMARRER LA THÉIÈRE
A. SÉLECTION DE TEMPÉRATURE
– Appuyez sur le bouton de sélection de température (schéma 6),
sélectionnez la température : 40°c, 50°c, 60°c, 70°c, 80°c, 85°C, 90°c
ou 100°c.
– L’indicateur lumineux de sélection de température clignote 4 fois et
émet un bip sonore, la chauffe commence (schéma7).
– Remarque : Il est possible de lancer le cycle avant le départ
automatique en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt.
– Dès que la température requise est atteinte, la théière s’arrête et
émet deux bips sonores (schéma 8).
B. INFUSION DU THÉ
– Sans retirer la théière de sa base, retirez le couvercle du panier à thé
(schéma 9)
– Remplissez le panier à thé avec la quantité désirée de feuilles de thé
ou de sachet(s) thé (schéma 10)
– Replacez le panier à thé dans la théière en prenant soin de ne pas
vous brûler en touchant le couvercle (Schéma 11).
– Replacez le couvercle du panier à thé (Schéma 12).
– Appuyez sur le bouton de sélection du temps d’infusion
(Schéma13), sélectionner le temps d’infusion : 1min, 2min, 3min,
4min, 5min, 6min, 7min, 8min, 9min ou 10min
Remarque : Automatiquement, votre thé sera infusé à la température
précédemment sélectionnée.

– Une fois le temps d’infusion atteint, la théière s’arrête et émet deux
bips sonore(schéma 14).
Remarque : Il est possible de lancer le cycle avant le départ automatique
en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt.
– Afin de ne pas sur-infuser votre thé, retirez le panier à thé de la
théière et replacez le couvercle (schéma 15), votre thé est prêt à
être servi (schéma 16).
C. UTILISATION DU KEEP WARM
Une fois votre thé infusé il vous est possible de le garder à la
température précédemment sélectionnée (maximum de 95°c) pendant
le temps que vous souhaitez.
– Replacez la théière sur la base de commandes (Schéma 17).
– Appuyez sur le bouton de sélection du Keep warm (Schéma 18),
sélectionnez le temps : 1heure, 2heures, 3heures, 4heures, 5heures,
6heures, 7heurse ou 8heures. Une fois le keep warm terminé :
– La théière s’arrête et émet deux bips sonores.
D. ARRÊT PRODUIT ET MISE EN VEILLE
Si aucun cycle n’est en cours et si aucun appui sur les touches du produit
n’est réalisé, celui ci passe automatiquement en mode veille et s’éteint
au bout de 5 min.
Un simple appui sur la touche on/off permet de le rallumer
si vous souhaitez éteindre votre appareil manuellement, faites un appui
long sur la touche on/off.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
NETTOYAGE DE VOTRE THÉIÈRE
Débranchez le câble d’alimentation.
Laissez la théière refroidir et nettoyez-la avec une éponge humide.
•
N’immergez jamais la théière, sa base, le câble ou la prise électrique
dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide : les connexions électriques ou
l’interrupteur ne doivent pas entrer en contact avec de l’eau ou tout
autre liquide.
•
N’utilisez pas de tampon à récurer métallique.
•
Lorsque votre théière a fini d’infuser éviter les chocs thermiques avec
de l’eau froide.
•
Ne pas mettre les pièces du produits au lave vaiselle.
•
La bague est faite pour se retirer et ainsi faciliter le nettoyage.

DÉTARTRAGE
Détartrez régulièrement la théière, de préférence au moins une fois par
mois ou plus fréquemment si votre eau est très dure
POUR DÉTARTRER VOTRE THÉIÈRE :
• Avec du vinaigre blanc :
– Remplissez la théière avec 0,5 L de vinaigre blanc.
– Laissez-le agir pendant 1 heure environ sans chauffer.
• Avec de l’acide citrique :
– Faites bouillir 0,5 L d’eau.
– Ajoutez 25 g d’acide citrique et laissez reposer pendant 15 min.

surchauffe : laissez la théière refroidir et remplissez-la d'eau. Mais
détartrez d'abord la théière si du tartre s'est accumulé.
Remettez la théière en marche : la théière recommence à fonctionner
après environ 15 minutes.

처음 사용하기 전에
품질 수준을 100% 충족하는지 검사하기 위해, 물을 사용하여 제품
테스트를 진행하였습니다. 이로 인해 제품 내부에 물 얼룩이 남아있을 수
있으나 제품의 품질과 위생에 영향을 미치지 않습니다.
1. 티메이커 내/외부에서 각종 포장재, 스티커 및 부속품을 제거하십시오.
2. 전원받침대 아래에서 코드를 풀어 길이를 조정하십시오. 코드를
전원받침대 아래 고정부에 끼워 고정하십시오. (그림 1)
처음 사용 하는 경우, 티메이커에 깨끗한 물을 넣고 헹군 뒤 비워
주십시오. 차 거름망과 뚜껑도 함께 헹궈 주십시오.
사용
1. 물이 튀지 않고, 뜨거운 열이 발생하는 기기와 가깝지 않는 평평하고
안정된 표면에 전원받침대를 놓아 주십시오.
2. 뚜껑 열기
• 티메이커의 손잡이를 잡고 뚜껑과 차 거름망을 제거하십시오 (그림
2/3). 뚜껑 없이 티메이커를 작동하지 마십시오. 뚜껑을 분실했거나
파손된 경우 공인 서비스 센터에 문의하십시오.
• 티메이커는 제공된 전원받침대와 사용해야 합니다.
3. 티메이커에 원하는 양의 물을 채우십시오(그림 4)
• 반드시 전원 받침대에서 티메이커를 분리한 뒤, 티메이커에 물을 채워
주십시오.
• 최대 수위 이상 또는 최소 수위 이하로 물을 채우지 마십시오. 최소
수위에 미치지 못하면, 온도 측정이 정확하지 않습니다.
(온도 오차 +/- 3°C).

• 티메이커에 물을 너무 많이 채우면 물이 끓어 넘칠 수 있습니다. 물
없이 티메이커를 작동하지 마십시오. 사용 전에 뚜껑이 제대로 닫혀
있는지 확인하십시오.
• 차를 만들고 난 후 차 거름망을 다시 티메이커에 넣지 마시고 깨끗하게
세척하여 주십시오.
4. 티메이커를 전원받침대에 장착하고 뚜껑을 닫으십시오(그림 5)
티메이커를 전원 콘센트에 연결하십시오.
• 전원받침대에 표시등이 들어오고 물 온도가 실시간으로 표시됩니다.

5. 티메이커 시작하기
A. 온도 설정
– 온도 설정 버튼 (그림 6)을 누르고, 온도를 선택합니다: 40°C,
50°C, 60°C, 70°C, 80°C, 85°C, 90°C, 100°C.
– 온도 설정 표시등이 4번 빛나고 삐 소리가 나면, 가열이 시작됩니다.

– 참고: 자동으로 시작하기 전에 전원버튼을 눌러 시작할 수도
있습니다.
– 필요한 온도에 도달하면, 티메이커가 작동을 멈추고 삐 소리를 2회
냅니다. (그림 8)
B. 차 만들기
– 티메이커를 전원받침대에 장착하고, 티메이커 뚜껑을 여십시오.

세척 및 관리
티메이커 세척
플러그를 뽑으십시오.
티메이커를 식히고 물을 적신 스폰지로 세척하십시오.
•
티메이커, 전원 받침대, 전원선 또는 플러그를 물 또는 어떤 액체에도
절대로 담그지 마십시오. 전기 연결부 또는 전원 받침대 조작부는 물
또는 어떤 액체와도 접촉하면 안 됩니다.
•
수세미를 사용하지 마십시오.
•
차 우리기를 끝낸 티메이커는 매우 뜨겁습니다. 차가운 물과 닿으면
온도차로 충격이 있을 수 있으니 주의하십시오.
•
제품 부품을 식기세척기에 넣지 마십시오.
•
뚜껑의 고무 링은 분리할 수 있도록 설계 되어 있으며, 이는 편리한
세척을 위한 것으로 쉽게 다시 장착할 수 있습니다.
물때 제거
매우 센 물일 경우 적어도 한 달에 한 번 또는 더 자주 정기적으로 물때를
제거하십시오.
티메이커 물때 제거하기:
• 일반식초 사용:
– 티메이커에 일반식초 1/2리터를 채웁니다.
– 가열하지 말고 1시간 동안 방치하십시오
• 구연산 사용:
– 물 1/2리터를 끓입니다.
– 구연산 25g을 첨가하고 15분 동안 둡니다.
• 티메이커를 비우고 5-6번 헹굽니다. 필요할 경우 이 과정을
반복합니다.
차 거름망과 뚜껑 물때 제거하기:
필터를 일반식초 또는 희석된 구연산에 담가 둡니다.
•
권장된 방법 외의 다른 물때 제거 방법은 절대로 사용하지 마십시오.
시간, 3시간, 4시간, 5시간, 6시간, 7시간, 8시간. 보온 기능이
완료되면:
– 티메이커 작동이 멈추고 삐 소리가 2회 납니다.
D. 작동 중지 및 대기 모드
진행 중인 사이클이 없고 버튼을 누르지 않으면, 기기는 자동으로 대기
모드로 넘어가 5분 후에 꺼집니다.
전원 버튼을 눌러 다시 기기를 켤 수 있습니다.
수동으로 기기를 끄고 싶다면, 전원 버튼을 길게 눌러 주십시오.

티메이커에 명백한 손상이 없는 경우
• 티메이커가 작동하지 않거나 끓기 전에 멈춥니다.
– 티메이커가 제대로 연결되어 있는지 확인하십시오.
– 티메이커에 물이 없는 상태로 전원을 켰거나 물때 누적으로 인한
과열로 작동이 중지되었습니다: 티메이커를 식히고 물을 채웁니다.
물때가 누적되었을 경우 먼저 물때를 제거합니다.
전원을 켭니다: 티메이커를 약 15분 후 다시 작동 시킵니다.
티메이커가 떨어졌거나 물이 새거나 전원 코드, 플러그 또는 티메이커
