Read and follow the instructions for use. Keep

means of an external timer or a separate remote-

control system.

• Check that the power supply voltage corresponds to that shown on the

appliance (alternating current).

• Given the diverse standards in effect, if the appliance is used in a country

other than that in which it is purchased, have it checked by an approved

service centre.

CONNECTING TO THE POWER SUPPLY

• Do not use the appliance if:

– the appliance or the cord is damaged

– the appliance has fallen or shows visible damage or does not work

properly

– In the event of the above, the appliance must be sent to an approved

Service Centre. Do not take the appliance apart yourself

• Do not leave the cord hanging.

• Always plug the appliance into an earthed socket.

• Do not use an extension lead. If you accept liability for doing so, only

use an extension lead which is in good condition, has an earthed plug

and is suited to the power of the appliance.

• Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the cord.

USING

• Use a flat, stable, heat-resistant work surface away from any water

splashes.

• Do not allow the base of the appliance to come into contact with water

• Never try to operate the appliance when the pot is empty or without

the pot.

• The cooking function/knob must be allowed to operate freely. Do not

prevent or obstruct the function from automatically changing to the

keep warm function.

• Do not remove the pot while the appliance is working.

• Do not put the appliance directly onto a hot surface, or any other source

of heat or flame, as it will cause a failure or danger.

• The pot and the heating plate should be in direct contact. Ensure that

no food or liquid is inserted between the pot and heating plate.

• Do not place the appliance near a heat source or in a hot oven, as

serious damage could result.

• Do not put any food or water into the appliance until the pot is in place.

• Respect the levels indicated in the recipes.

• Should any part of your appliance catch fire, do not attempt to put it

out with water. To smother the flames use a damp teatowel.

• Any intervention should only be made by a service centre with original

spare parts.

• Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended

and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT

• Your appliance has been designed to run for many years. However,

when you decide to replace it, remember to think about how you can

contribute to protecting the environment.

• Before discarding your appliance you should remove the battery from

the timer and dispose of it at a local civic waste collection centre

(according to model).

BEFORE FIRST USE

USING YOUR RICE COOKER

• Open the lid by pressing the opening button on the housing –Fig.1

• Remove the pot –Fig.2, the inner lid and the pressure valve –Fig.3a – 3c.

• Clean the pot, the valve and the inner lid with a sponge and washing up

liquid.

• Wipe the outside of the appliance and the lid with a damp cloth.

• Dry off carefully.

• Put all the elements back in their original position. Install the detachable

cord into the socket on the cooker base.

Measuring the ingredients - Max capacity of the bowl

• The graduated markings on the inside of the bowl are given in cups, these

are used for measuring the amount of water when cooking rice and other

cereals. There are 2 kinds of water lever marks for 2 different kinds of

rice: white rice, Jasmine rice. And one water lever mark for porridge and

congee.

• The maximum quantity of water + rice should not exceed the 5.5 cups

mark inside the bowl.

• The plastic cup provided with your appliance is for measuring rice and

other cereals.

• To cook 1 cup of white rice (serves 2 small or 1 large portion), use

1measuring cup of white rice and then add 1½ measuring cup of water.

COOKING PROGRAMS

White Rice, Jasmine Rice, Congee, Soup, Slow Cook

– Press “Menu” button to choose program. When the program is chosen

the light of program lights up and then press start button to start the

program.

– At the end of cooking, the buzzer will ring five “bip”, the rice cooker

will enter keep warm status with the “Keep Warm” indicator turning on

and the screen will start to count the time of keeping warm.

Clay Pot

– Users need to add rice and water firstly and use Menu button to choose

clay pot program and press “Start” to start cooking. Add other kinds

of ingredients, like salted fish, sausage when the appliance “bip” and

press “Start” button again to continue cooking progress. At the end of

cooking, the buzzer will ring five “bip”, the rice cooker will enter keep

warm status with the “Keep Warm” indicator turning on and the screen

will start to count the time of keeping warm.

Quick Cooking/ Steam, Reheat.

– Press the program button directly. When the program is chosen the

light of program lights up and then press start button to start the

program.

– At the end of cooking, the buzzer will ring five “bip”, the rice cooker

will enter keep warm status with the “Keep Warm” indicator turning on

and the screen will start to count the time of keeping warm.

Delayed Start

– Available for all cooking modes (except “Reheat”, “Keep Warm”,

“ClayPot” and “Slow Cook” mode).

– After selecting “Congee”and “Soup”, press the “Delayed Start/Timer”

key button twice (the delayed start indicator will turn on), and then use

the “+/-” buttons to set the timer. Cooking will finish after the preset

time has elapsed.

– After selecting “White Rice”, “Jasmine Rice”, “Steam” or “QuickCooking”,

press the “Delayed Start/Timer” key button once (the delayed start

indicator will turn on), and then use the “+/-” buttons to set the timer.

Cooking will finish after the preset time has elapsed.

– The maximum start delay is 24 hours.

Adjust cooking time

– You can adjust the cooking time for congee, soup, slow cook modes.

When you select a cooking mode, the default cooking time will be

shown on the digital display. Press the “Delayed Start / Timer” key

once (the timer indicator will turn on), and then use the “+/-” buttons

to adjust the cooking time.

Keep Warm/ Cancel

– Press “Keep Warm / Cancel” key under standby status, the light of

“Keep Warm / Cancel” key lights up, the screen shows “00:00” and the

screen will start to count the time of keeping warm.

– Press “Keep Warm / Cancel” key under function setting or cooking

status will cancel all setting data and back to standby status.

– Recommendation: in order to keep the food in good taste, please limit

the holding time within 12h.

Note: It takes around 45 minutes to cook 4 cups of white rice under the

normal condition and if you use Quick Cooking function you will save

around 7 minutes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• To ensure the rice cooker is unplugged and completely cooled down

before cleaning and maintenance.

• It is strongly advised to clean the appliance after each use with a sponge.

• The pot, the cup and the rice and soup spoons are dishwasher safe.

Pot, steam basket

• Scouring powders and metal sponges are not recommended.

• If food has stuck to the bottom, you may put water in the pot to soak

for a while before washing.

• Dry the pot carefully.

Taking care of the pot

For the pot, carefully follow the instructions below:

• To ensure the maintenance of pot quality, it is recommended not to cut

food in it.

• Use the plastic spoon provided or a wooden spoon and not a metal type

so as to avoid damaging the pot surface.

NOTE

• Do not open the lid during cooking as steam will escape and this will

affect the cooking time and the taste.

• On completion of cooking, when the “KEEP WARM” indicate light is on,

stir the rice and then leave it in the rice cooker for a few minutes longer

in order to get perfect rice with separate grains.

• Do not touch the heating element when the product is plugged in.

• Carefully wipe the outside of the bowl (especially the bottom). Make

sure that there are no foreign residues or liquid underneath the bowl

and on the heating element.

• Never place your hand on the steam vent during cooking, as there is

a danger of burns–Fig7.

• Only use the inner pot provided with the appliance.

• Do not pour water or put ingredients in the appliance without the

bowl inside.

• To avoid any risk of corrosion, do not pour vinegar into the pot.

Cleaning the micro pressure valve

• When clean the micro-pressure valve, please remove it from the lid and

open it by rotating in the direction of “open” –Fig.4a-4b. After cleaning

it, please wipe dry it and meet the two triangle in the two parts together

and rotate it in the direction of “close”, then put it back to the lid of the

rice cooker –Fig.5a-5b.

Cleaning the inner lid

• Remove the inner lid by pushing outwards on the head of the up lid

–Fig3a-3b. Clean it with a sponge and washing up liquid. Then wipe dry

and put it back behind the two ribs and push it on the top until it’s fixed.

Cleaning and care of the other parts of the appliance

• Clean the outside of the Rice Cooker, the inside of the lid and the cord

with a damp cloth and wipe dry. Do not use abrasive products.

• Do not use water to clean the interior of the appliance body as it could

damage the heat sensor.

PENGGUNAAN

• Guna permukaan yang rata, penebat haba yang jauh dari percikan air.

• Jangan biarkan tapak perkakas bersentuhan dengan air.

• Jangan cuba menggunakan alat perkakas apabila periuk kosong atau

tanpa periuk.

• Fungsi/tombol memasak harus dibenarkan untuk beroperasi dengan

bebas. Jangan mencegah atau menghalang fungsi daripada bertukar

secara automatik kepada fungsi kekal panas.

• Jangan keluarkan periuk ketika alat perkakas sedang berfungsi.

• Jangan letak alat perkakas terus kepada permukaan panas atau lain-

SEBELUM PENGGUNAAN PERTAMA

• Buka tudung dengan menekan butang pembuka pada perumah

–Rajah1

• Keluarkan periuk – Rajah 2, tudung dalaman dan injap tekanan –

Rajah3a – 3c.

• Bersihkan periuk, injap dan tudung dalaman dengan span dan cecair

basuhan.

• Lap luaran perkakas dan tudung dengan kain lembap.

• Keringkan dengan teliti.

• Letakkan semua elemen balik kepada tempat asalnya. Pasang kord

boleh tanggal kepada soket pada tapak pemasak.

• Jangan letak alat perkakas berdekatan sumber haba atau di dalam

ketuhar panas, kerana ia boleh menyebabkan kerosakan yang teruk.

• Jangan letakkan sebarang makanan atau air ke dalam perkakas

sehingga periuk berada di tempatnya.

• Ikuti tahap yang ditunjukkan dalam resipi.

• Jika sebarang bahagian alat perkakas anda terbakar, jangan cuba

padamkan dengan air. Untuk mengurangkan api gunakan tuala basah.

• Sebarang campur tangan sepatutnya dibuat hanya oleh pusat

perkhidmatan dengan alat ganti asal.

• Sentiasa mencabut alat perkakas daripada sumber kuasa jika dibiarkan

dan sebelum memasang, membuka atau membasuh.

LINDUNGI ALAM SEKITAR

• Alat perkakas anda telah direka untuk penggunaan selama beberapa

tahun. Walau bagaimanapun, apabila anda memutuskan untuk

menggantikannya, jangan lupa untuk memikirkan cara anda boleh

menyumbang bagi melindungi alam sekitar.

• Sebelum membuang alat perkakas anda keluarkan bateri daripada

pemasa dan lupuskan di pusat pengumpulan buangan sivik tempatan

(mengikut model).

MENGGUNAKAN PEMASAK NASI ANDA

Menyukat bahan-bahan - Kapasiti maksimum mangkuk

• Penanda aras di dalam mangkuk adalah dalam cawan, ini digunakan

untuk menyukat jumlah air apabila memasak nasi dan bijirin lain.

Terdapat 2 jenis penanda paras air untuk 2 jenis beras yang berbeza:

beras putih, beras Jasmine. Tamban satu penanda paras air untuk

bubur dan bubur nasi.

• Kuantiti maksimum air + beras tidak boleh melebihi penanda 5.5 cawan

di dalam mangkuk.

• Cawan plastik disediakan bersama perkakas untuk menyukat beras dan

bijirin lain.

• Untuk memasak 1 cawan beras putih (hidangan 2 kecil atau 1 bahagian

besar), guna 1 cawan penyukat beras putih dan tambah 1½ cawan

penyukat air. Untukmemasak kuantiti beras putih yang lain, rujuk pada

jadual memasak di bawah.

PROGRAM MEMASAK

White Rice (Beras Putih), Jasmine Rice (Beras Jasmine), Congee (Bubur

Nasi), Soup (Sup), Slow Cook (Masak Perlahan)

– Tekan butang “Menu” untuk memilih program. Apabila program

dipilih, lampu program menyala dan kemudian tekan butang mula

untuk memulakan program.

– Pada penghujung memasak, pembaz akan berbunyi “bip” lima kali,

periuk pemasak nasi akan memasuki status kekal panas dengan

penunjuk “Kekal Panas” menyala dan skrin akan mula mengira masa

mengekalkan panas.

Clay Pot (Periuk Tanah)

– Pengguna perlu menambah beras dan air terlebih dahulu dan

menggunakan butang Menu untuk memilih program periuk tanah dan

menekan “Start (Mula)” untuk mula memasak. Tambah jenis bahan

yang lain seperti ikan masin, sosej apabila perkakas berbunyi “bip”

dan tekan butang “Start (Mula)” sekali lagi untuk terus memasak.

Pada penghujung memasak, pembaz akan berbunyi “bip” lima kali,

periuk pemasak nasi akan memasuki status kekal panas dengan

penunjuk “Kekal Panas” menyala dan skrin akan mula mengira masa

mengekalkan panas.

Memasak Segera/ Steam (Kukus), Reheat (Panas Semula).

– Tekan butang program secara terus. Apabila program dipilih,

lampu program menyala dan kemudian tekan butang mula untuk

memulakan program.

– Pada penghujung memasak, pembaz akan berbunyi “bip” lima kali,

periuk pemasak nasi akan memasuki status kekal panas dengan

penunjuk “Kekal Panas” menyala dan skrin akan mula mengira masa

mengekalkan panas.

Mula Tertunda

– Tersedia untuk semua mod memasak (kecuali mod “Reheat (Panas

Semula)”, “Kekal Panas”, “Clay Pot (Periuk Tanah)” dan “Slow Cook

(Masak Perlahan)”).

– Selepas memilih “Congee (Bubur Nasi)” dan “Soup (Sup)”, tekan

butang kekunci “Masa Tertunda / Pemasa” dua kali (penunjuk mula

tertunda akan menyala) dan kemudian gunakan butang “+/-” untuk

menetapkan pemasa. Memasak akan selesai selepas masa praset

berlalu.

– Selepas memilih “White Rice (Beras Putih)”, “Jasmine Rice (Beras

Jasmine)”, “Steam (Kukus)” atau “QuickCooking (Memasak Segera)”,

tekan butang kekunci “Masa Tertunda / Pemasa” sekali (penunjuk

mula tertunda akan menyala) dan kemudian gunakan butang “+/-”

untuk menetapkan pemasa. Memasak akan selesai selepas masa

praset berlalu.

– Mula lengah maksimum ialah 24 jam.

Laraskan masa memasak

– Anda boleh melaraskan masa memasak untuk mod bubur nasi,

sup, masak perlahan. Apabila anda memilih mod memasak, masa

memasak lalai akan ditunjukkan pada paparan digital. Tekan kekunci

“Masa Tertunda / Pemasa” sekali (penunjuk pemasa akan menyala)

dan kemudian gunakan butang +/- untuk melaraskan masa memasak.

Kekal Panas/ Cancel (Batal)

– Tekan kekunci “Kekal Panas / Cancel (Batal)” di bawah status

tunggu sedia, lampu kekunci “Kekal Panas / Cancel (Batal)” menyala,

skrin menunjukkan “00:00” dan skrin akan mula mengira masa

mengekalkan panas.

– Tekan kekunci “Kekal Panas / Cancel (Batal)” di bawah tetapan fungsi

atau status memasak akan membatalkan semua data tetapan dan

kembali kepada status tunggu sedia.

– Pengesyoran: untuk mendapatkan rasa makanan yang segar, sila

hadkan masa menyimpan dalam tempoh 12 jam.

PEMBERSIHAN DAN PENYELENGGARAAN

• Untuk memastikan periuk pemasak nasi telah dicabut palam dan

disejukkan sebelum pembersihan dan penyelenggaraan.

• Dinasihatkan untuk membersih perkakas setiap penggunaan dengan

span.

• Periuk, cawan serta senduk nasi dan sup adalah selamat digunakan di

dalam mesin pencuci pinggan.

Periuk, bakul kukus

• Serbuk kasar dan span logam tidak digalakkan.

• Jika makanan melekat pada bahagian bawah, anda perlu masukkan air

ke dalam periuk untuk rendaman sebelum membasuh.

• Keringkan periuk dengan teliti.

Penjagaan periuk

Untuk periuk, ikut arahan di bawah dengan teliti:

• Untuk memastikan penyelenggaraan kualiti periuk, dicadangkan tidak

memotong makanan di dalamnya.

• Guna senduk plastik yang disediakan atau senduk kayu dan bukan jenis

logam untuk mengelakkan kerosakan pada permukaan periuk.

• Untuk mengelak sebarang risiko berkarat, jangan masukkan cuka ke

dalam periuk.

Pembersihan injap tekanan mikro

• Apabila membersih injap tekanan mikro, sila tanggalkannya dari tudung

– rajah15 dan buka ia dengan memutar pada arah “buka” –Rajah4a-

4b. Selepas membersihkannya, sila lap hingga kering dan meletakkan

dua segi tiga di dua bahagian bersama-sama dan memutarkan ia

pada arah “tutup”, kemudian meletakkan ia semua pada tudung periuk

pemasak nasi –Rajah 5a-5b.

NOTA

• Jangan membuka tudung semasa memasak kerana wap akan terkeluar

dan ini akan memberi kesan pada masa memasak dan rasa.

• Setelah selesai memasak, apabila lampu penunjuk "KEEP WARM

(KEKAL PANAS)" menyala, kacau nasi dan kemudian biarkan ia di dalam

pemasak nasi beberapa minit lagi untuk mendapatkan nasi sempurna

dengan butiran yang berasingan.

• Jangan sentuh elemen pemanas apabila produk dipasang atau

selepas produk dipalam masuk.

• Lap bahagian luar periuk dengan berhati-hati (terutama sekali di

bawah). Pastikan tiada sisa asing atau cecair di bawah mangkuk

dan pada elemen pemanas.

• Jangan letakkan tangan anda pada lubang wap semasa memasak,

bahaya melecur–Rajah7.

• Hanya gunakan periuk dalaman yang disediakan dengan perkakas.

• Jangan tuang air atau meletakkan bahan-bahan masakan dalam

perkakas tanpa mangkuk di dalam.

Membersihkan tudung dalaman

• Tanggalkan tudung dalam dengan menolak keluar kepala tudung

atas – Rajah 3a-3b. Bersihkannya dengan span dan cecair pencuci.

Kemudian lap sehingga kering dan letakkan semula di belakang dua

rusuk dan tekan pada bahagian atas sehingga ia tetap.

Pembersihan dan penjagaan bahagian perkakas yang lain

• Bersihkan luaran Pemasak Nasi, bahagian dalam tudung dan kord

dengan kain lembap dan lap hingga kering. Jangan gunakan produk

yang kasar.

• Jangan gunakan air untuk membersih bahagian dalam badan perkakas

kerana ia boleh merosakkan sensor haba.

MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH
