Installation recommendations
– We recommend a minimum distance
of 700 mm and a maximum distance
of 1300 mm.
– If positioned too high, extraction will
be inefficient.
– To achieve optimum vapour
extraction, the rangehood must be
centred over the cooktop, not to the
side or behind it.
– The cooktop should be no wider than
the rangehood and, if possible, it
should be narrower, especially for
safety distances greater than
750mm.
– If the rangehood is being installed in
a suspended ceiling, the installation
surface all around the rangehood
must be at least 300 mm larger than
the rangehood itself.
– The installation area must be easily
accessible. The rangehood should be
easily accessible and easy to
dismantle in the event that service is
required. This should be taken into
consideration when planning the
position of cupboards, shelves,
ceilings or features in the vicinity of
the rangehood.
