components’ volume controls
to AMP
Press VOL – while holding
MUTING pressed.
Only AMP lights up when you
press these buttons, and then
turns off when you release them.
Press and while holding VOL–,
press MUTING.
Volume control setting complete.

Notes
If you used the Learning function to
program the VOL +/– or MUTING
buttons to send a signal to a
component, the procedure above will
not change the function of the VOL
+/– and MUTING buttons.
If you set a Learning function for
sending an amplifier‘s volume
control signal on a Component Select
button other than TV, the priority of
sending the signal is also set as
follows from highest to lowest
priority: AMP buttontVCR
buttontCBL buttontDVD button.
For example, if you “teach” the AMP
button and the VCR button to send
the amplifier‘s volume signal, when
you adjust the volume, the signals on
AMP button are sent to the amplifier
first. If you “teach” the AMP button
to send signals of other than for an
amplifier, the signals is sent to the
amplifier from the VCR button.
