Ignition safety control
Your cooktop is equipped with an igni-
tion safety control. If a gas flame is ex-
tinguished, e.g., by food boiling over or
by a draft, the gas supply is switched
off. This prevents the release of gas. If
you turn the control knob to the posi-
tion, the burner is ready for use again.
The ignition safety control operates in-
dependently from the electricity sup-
ply. This means that it will still work if
the cooktop is used during a power
outage.
