Lutron DVELV-300P-WH Questions and Answers

#1 Does this switch require a neutral wire?

Yes, the DVELV-300P requires a neutral connection in the wallbox.

#2 Can this dimmer be used on a circuit that includes both led and incandescent bulbs, assuming the combined load is less than 300 watts?

This dimmer is not rated to be used in a combined load of LED and incandescent products.

#3 I am confused: is this for use with line 120v bulbs, low voltage 12v bulbs running off a transformer, or both? led bulbs in particular.

This product can control LED bulbs as long as there is an electronic low voltage transformer between the LED bulbs and this dimmer. For 120v applications without a transformer, this dimmer is only rated to control incandescent or halogen bulbs.
