CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
For hygienic reasons, the interior, including the interior  ttings, should be cleaned
regularly.
CAUTION
Danger of injury! Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and
unplug the appliance from the power outlet to prevent electric shock.
Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaner. Moisture can accumulate in
electrical components and increase the risk of electric shock! Hot vapours can
damage the unit and its surfaces.
The unit must be dry before it is put back into operation.
Do not clean the unit with essential oils and organic solvents; they can attack the
plastic parts. These include lemon juice, butyric acid or cleaning agents containing
acetic acid. Do not allow these substances to come into contact with the parts of the
machine.
Do not use abrasive cleaners
Clean the appliance and internal accessories with a cloth and lukewarm water.
After cleaning, wipe all parts with fresh water and allow to dry.
Do not use the appliance again until all parts are dry.
Defrost the freezer
In the freezer, ice collects on the walls over time. The ice should be removed regularly.
Never use sharp metal objects to scrape off the ice, as this could damage the appliance.
If the layer of ice inside becomes very thick, let it defrost completely.
1. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet;
2. Remove all food and store it in a cool place.
3. Leave the door open and place a drip tray or bowl under the appliance to collect
the defrost water.
4. When the ice has completely defrosted, dry the interior thoroughly.
5. Then reconnect the plug to the power outlet and start the appliance.
