Yes! All accessories are included. I bought mine from wizard-electroland...they have Bose the actual company ship them out to you. So everything is in there, including the case.

They are not Bluetooth so they should work on an airplane.

Yes, most certainly, you can use any brand/model ear buds with a smart phone. The IE2 specifically however, do not have any audio controls or no mic on them but you can use them for music listening only. You would raise and lower the volume using the controls on the smart phone itself.

The cable on these headphones is hard wired and not detachable.
