Safety Precautions
1. Do not insert anything, cover or obstruct the inlet and outlet grilles. (Fig. A)
2. Make sure all children are properly supervised around this portable air
conditioner. (Fig. B)
3. Do not use an excessively wet cloth, industrial solvents, oil-based products
to clean this portable air conditioner. (Fig. C)
4. The power cable (Fig. D) must not:
-Come into contact with liquid of any kind; danger of electric shock and/or
fire;
-be squeezed and/or come into contact with sharp surface;
-be used to drag the unit;
-be used if damaged;
-be handled with damp or wet hands;
-be left in a tangled coil when the unit is working;
-be placed near a source of heat; always unroll completely to avoid the
possibility of overheating.
If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced exclusively by an
authorized service agent.
5. Make sure this unit is connected to a correctly grounded power supply outlet.
Do not use an extension cord. The power cord is UL listed. It has a bulit-in
L.C.D.I (Leakage, Current, Detection, Interruption) circuit breaker for added
safety.
