#1 To what thickness would this cut?
I use mine quite often as it's much safer than a petrol saw and it quite easily copes with 6 inch logs if used properly. Also I use a 4ah battery and it lasts ages. I recently cut down a 20 foot tree which was about 5 inch at its thickest and it coped admirably and logged the whole tree on one charge. As I say when used properly. Don't press on hard with it, let the saw cut at it's own pace and don't try to cut soil or stones, and keep the chain oiled with proper chainsaw oil. I am really pleased with mine for the money and would definitely buy another if it broke.
