#1 How long will the smart pool 18 take to heat up my 8,400 gallon pool?

Mine works about a degree an hour

#2 Do you attach it to the pool pump lines?

Yes, you have to put it on the out- line from your pump. This will only turn on with water circulating. That's the easier part of the install. The hard part is the power it needs and having access to that outside.

#3 Can it be used with a salt water pool?

Yes you can, but you have to make sure that the water has the chemicals to maintain the ph at 7.4
