Determine the thickness of your door.

Choose Screws and Tailpiece Length
2a Select the screws using the chart below.

Replace the Tailpiece
3a Remove the cylinder screw from the Touchscreen.
3b Remove the cylinder from the Touchscreen.
3c Remove the cylinder cap, washer and tailpiece.
Use a paperclip or similar to press and hold down the
pin. Then unscrew the cap. The washer and tailpiece
can then easily be removed. Leave the pin in place.

3d Install the new tailpiece, washer and cylinder cap.
Using the original washer and
cylinder cap, reinstall all pieces and
screw the cap into place. Do not
overtighten the cap!
3e Install the cylinder back into the Touchscreen.
Break off and discard
This kit is used to t the Touchscreen Deadbolt with Alarm and the Connected Touchscreen to doors that are between 1M\,” and 2Z\v” thick.

#1 Does this integrate with simplisafe?

No. SimpliSafe is a proprietary system and doesn’t play with other equipment.

#2 How to change battery?

There’s a cover on the top of the lock that is removed and the batteries are in a cradle that you remove to replace the 4 AA batteries.

#3 I can connect this lock directly to WiFi, or I need another device to do a bridge to the internet?

This lock communicates with Zigbee, so you do need a gateway to the internet. I use SmartThings.

#4 Is there an always open mode?

If you mean that it could stay unlock, yes.

#5 Can you open this lock using Apple Watch?

Only with a smart hub and app
