Membrane Solutions MPP Series cartridges
are manufactured using food-grade 100%
polypropylene material. Non-toxic and
tasteless, a non-shedding material that does
not re-contaminate the filtered water. The
unique three-layer gradient pore size design,
forming a three-dimensional filtering effect,
has the characteristics of high porosity, high
retention rate, high dirt holding capacity and
low pressure drop.
The sediment water filters remove large and
fine particles, such as rusts, silts, sands,
vegetative debris and other undissolved
particles. Excellent choice to filter sediments
from potable well or tap water. Recommend-
ed also as a pre-filter to protect RO water
systems.

GE - General Electric AP110 Questions and Answers

#1 Are each filter wrapped separately? Told to make sure they are

Yes each one is wrapped separately

#2 Will the filter remove the chlorine?

This products removes sediments if you have a well. It is not designed to remove chlorine. For Chlorine and chemical removal I use a Zero Water container for all drinking and cooking water.

#3 Can this sediment water filter be used for hot water? What is the water temperature limit?

I use them in the whole house hot water system, and the technical parameters they provide show that the maximum applicable water temperature is 176°F.

#4 Does this fit Brita water filter?

No, it does not fit the Brita system. These filters are meant for whole house water systems.

#5 I want to know how to choose the filtration accuracy of the water filter? Why do many people choose a filtration accuracy of 5 micron?

I use city tap water. The 5 micron water filter ensures that most of the sediment is filtered while providing proper anti-blocking performance, thereby reducing the frequency of replacement. For areas where the water quality is not too bad, 5 micron is the best choice.
