2
Rinse the filter cartridge with tap water.
3
Insert the cartridge into the
funnel and press in into position
until it stops.
4
Fill the pitcher 2/3rd with tap
water.
5
Set the funnel to which the cartridge was
fitted in #3 into the pitcher.
6
Let stand for 20 minutes.
7
Pour out the water that has collected in the funnel
and the pitcher.
8
Fill the funnel to the water line with room temperature
water and then allow it to filter naturally.
9

in the pitcher.
10
Repeat procedures #8 and #9 twice more (for a total of 3 times.)
(2) General Usage
1
Fill the funnel to the water line.
Do not fill past water line.
Failure to observe this may result in tap water (unfiltered water)
mixing in with filtered water.
Attach the Lid
2
For great-tasting filtered water, please replace your filter every 42 gallons.
Simply, set the calendar dial on top of the lid to keep track of when to change the filter.
Reference follows:
When you fill up the funnel, you will have about 3 cups in total.
If you drink 6 cups a day (fill up the funnel twice a day), it is recommended
that you replace your filter every 3 months.
If you drink 9 cups a day (fill up the funnel three times a day), it is
recommended that you replace your filter every 2 months.
3
Stand the pitcher up straight and allow filtering to take place.
Make sure that it is stood so that water does not leak out when stored in
a refrigerator, etc.
