#1 When using in acess point mode can i put the same ssid on my current router to the deco x20s? or will this interfere with the signal?

APs work on channels and they will auto hop if there is interference, so yes you can do this and it should be fine.

#2 How can you label the room designation of each router in the house, in the app?

You can identify each router as you power them up on the iphone app.

#3 Does this work with any wifi sytem?

No. Deco is a WiFi system itself and primarily works only with other deco units. You can have up to 10 Decos in a single network to ensure maximum coverage. Deco being a router as well should work with any ISP whos service or service modem connects to the router via Ethernet.

#4 Can I hook my printer (ethernet) into one of the extenders?

Yes, you can connect any Ethernet-enabled network device - such as a computer or Ethernet printer, to the Ethernet ports on the Deco X20 units.

#5 Will this work with a modem/router combo from my ISP?

Yes, you can connect the primary Deco unit to your modem/router combo via Ethernet and use the Deco app to quickly and conveniently set up your Deco Mesh network.

#6 Does homecare do all scanning on local routers or does it send traffic to remote servers then back? Are virus definitions stored on physical router?

Traffic is filed through our partner's servers to verify and either pass or deny.

#7 Does this system offer true mimo?

They all offer true mimo as long as the data supports the mimo protocols

#8 One Device should be connected to modem and second device can i just start without connecting to ethernet and sill it expands network?

Yes, once the primary Deco has been installed, the secondary unit can be connected via WiFi using the Deco app. Please note the secondary unit(s) will still need to be connected to power using the included power adapter.

#9 Can a four mesh point be added to a three pack?

All of our Deco Mesh models are compatible with each other. Up to10 Deco units in a Deco Mesh network.
