Set temperature
Connect your device. The internal temperature
is controlled by a thermostat. Depending on the
model, there are 6 (8) settings. 1 is the warmest
setting and 5 (7) is the coldest setting. At 0, the
refrigerator is off.
Note: If it is particularly hot or if you open the
door frequently, the desired coldness may not be
achieved.
Freezing food
• The freezer compartments and drawers are suitable for freezing fresh food and
storing frozen and deep-frozen food for a longer period of time.
• Always freeze fresh food at the very bottom, as it is coldest there.
• The maximum amount of food that can be frozen in 24 hours is indicated on the
type plate.
• The freezing process takes 24 hours. Do not add any more food during this time.
Storage of frozen food
• When using the appliance for the rst time or after a long period of use, run the
appliance for at least 2 hours at a higher setting before putting food in it.
• If there is a longer power failure and the frozen food thaws, use it up immediately.
Do not refreeze the defrosted food.
Defrosting frozen food
• Frozen or deep-frozen food can be defrosted before use in the refrigerator or at
room temperature, depending on how quickly you want it to defrost.
• Smaller pieces can even be cooked while still frozen, in which case the cooking
time is slightly longer.
