GE - General Electric PDW7880N10SS Questions and Answers

#1 I have dirty standing water in the bottom of the tub. Clogged drain? What should I do? is there a method to electronically drain? Is there a way to gt at the drain to see if its clogged with food etc?

Please take a moment to review all the valuable suggestions at the following link to help resolve:

To determine if it will drain on its own, lock the door and press the 'Start/Reset' button one time to begin the cycle. Wait 10-15 seconds then press the 'Start/Reset' again as it will put it in a "reset" mode. This will cancel the cycle causing any water within the tub to be drained from the unit. this process with take approximately 2 minutes to complete and reset the electronic control to allow you to start another cycle.
